This multidisciplinary PhD project has been designed based on previous results aiming at artificial resistance, and it aims to carry this progress forward to eventually test whether protection can be obtained. This molecular project will involve yeast 2-hybrid, transient and stable transgenic studies in plants and bioimaging. Outstanding candidates with a relevant background in plant molecular biology, cell biology and protein biochemistry are invited to apply.
