The successful candidate will be offered a PhD scholarship to work on the synthesis of various nanostructures, their characterization and possible applications in the fields of photovoltaics, catalysis or biomedicine.

Potential candidates must have comprehensive experience in the synthesis of nanoparticles in solution using a wet chemical approach, in colloidal and surface chemistry, and in the characterization of nanoparticles using XPS, XRD, SEM and so on. The knowledge on solar cells, catalysis and photophysics is an asset. The candidate should have a M. Sc. degree in Chemistry.
