Applications are invited for two posts of Teaching Fellow in the Division of Social Statistics and Demography at the University of Southampton. The Teaching Fellows will be required to give lectures and tutorials in social statistics and/or demography to undergraduate students, to assist with the marking of assignments and examinations. The Teaching Fellows will also be expected to engage in advanced study or research. A particular duty of the Teaching Fellows will be to co-ordinate and administer large undergraduate and postgraduate teaching modules, and to co-ordinate the Short Courses in Applied Social Surveys run by Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute. The posts are available on a full-time or a part-time basis for a period of 12 months starting 1 September 2012, or as soon as possible afterwards. If held on a part-time basis they could be combined with research towards a doctoral degree.
