1. Scholarships are only available for commencing international students. Students who have already commenced an Honours program at the University of Adelaide are ineligible to apply. 2. Scholarships will be awarded strictly on academic merit and only actual results can be used. Only complete applications will be considered, and only applicants who have met the University’s minimum English language requirement at the scholarship application deadline will be eligible for consideration. 3. The University reserves the right to vary the awards, or not to offer scholarships if the candidates have not achieved the level of academic achievement to merit the awards. 4. A scholarship may not be awarded to anyone already holding another scholarship funded by the University of Adelaide. 5. Candidates who have applied for, or will apply for Australian permanent resident status are ineligible to apply.
1. Scholarships holders must commence study in the University of Adelaide in the year for which the scholarship was offered. 2. Scholarship holders are required to enroll in the University of Adelaide as “international students” and must maintain “international student” status for the duration of their enrolment in the University. The scholarship will be terminated if a student changes residency status. 3. Honours scholarships are available for up to one year, subject to satisfactory progress. 4. Scholarship holders are expected to enroll in a full time load. As required by the Australian Government, under the ESOS National Code of Practice 2007, international students are expected to complete their programs within the duration specified on their CoE. 5. If a scholarship holder enrolls in more than the standard load of 24 units per year, or in courses that increase the tuition fee beyond what is indicated in the scholarship offer letter, or enrolls in courses in another institution he or she will be responsible for the payment of the additional tuition fees. 6. The scholarship covers the amount of tuition fee for the duration indicated in the scholarship award letter for study at the University of Adelaide. The scholarships do not cover the costs of visas, Overseas Student Health Cover, travel, accommodation, living expenses, books and study materials or any other expenses associated with living in Adelaide or study at the University of Adelaide.
