The BHP Billiton Science and Engineering Scholarship is intended for students enrolling in eligible science and engineering courses at Curtin University. The Scholarship recognises the contribution made by BHP Billiton to the Resources and Chemistry Research and Education Precinct and is a response to an integral part of the BHP Billiton Alliance Agreement. Indigenous Australians are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for the BHP Billiton Science and Engineering Scholarship: -Receive an ATAR of 96 or above in 2012 -Have selected Curtin University as a first preference through TISC to undertake an eligible undergraduate science, engineering or WASM degree.
– Be undertaking the first semester of their first undergraduate degree at Curtin University in semester 1, 2013.
– Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian or Permanent Resident visa.
– Be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported place.
