Heriot-Watt University, School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences offers scholarship for undergraduate degree level. Scholarships are offered for the Malaysian students applying to an Undergraduate programme in the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences only. The award is given as a tuition fee discount of 25% from the published tuition fee for each academic year and will be applied to the student’s tuition fee account. If the student pass all assessments at first attempt and maintain a year average of 65% the award will be carried forward for subsequent academic years. The application deadline is 30 June 2013.. Who can apply to this scholarship? In order, quality to be considered for this scholarship applicants should:
· Have received an offer of a place of study for 2013,
· plan to accept the offer of a place by 30th June 2013,
· Be resident in Malaysia,
· be classed as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes,
· be responsible for paying their own tuition fees ( i.e. not sponsored by a government or company),
· apply for the scholarship before 30th June,
· Achieve a minimum of A*, A* A including Mathematics at A* in A
· Level exams or equivalent academic achievement.
