The University of Stavanger invites applications for a three-year doctorate scholarship in natural gas engineering – modeling of CO2 injectivity, at the Faculty of Science and Technology in the Department of Petroleum Engineering. This is a trainee position that will mainly give promising researchers an opportunity for professional development leading to a doctoral degree.
-The applicants must have earned a Master of Science/-technology degree or possess corresponding qualifications.
– The successful candidate should have a strong background in physics and chemistry as well as in natural gas engineering, particular related to flow in porous media.
– He/she has to have obtained an average grade of B or better in order to qualify.
– Candidates with experience within experimental (laboratory) work and/or knowledge in modeling/simulation will be preferred.
