The PostDoc or Ph.D. position will be offered in the context of the Patient at home project. The research will be motivated by infrastructural challenges for telemedicine and rehabilitation at home. The focus of the research will be to develop integrated infrastructures for health related issues centered on international standards and open systems. Various software tasks must be addressed in the project such as sensor integration, infrastructure development, data representation, intelligent software, as well as knowledge management aimed at health support. The research will be conducted in close collaboration with a Post Doc/Ph.D. student enrolled at the Technical University of Denmark.
– Applicants for the Ph.D. scholarship must have a Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, applicants for a Post Doc scholarship must have a Ph.D. within one of the same fields.
– Documented software engineering skills are required. Candidates with prior knowledge of infrastructure techniques and international standards, such as HL7, SNOMED CT, ICD-10, ICF and Continua Health Alliance will be preferred.
