The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), a publicly funded self governing organization consist of higher learning institute in Germany offers a number of distinct funding and scholarship  programmes in order to encourage international academic exchange as well as educational co-operation with developing countries. In partnership with ANSTI DAAD offers a wide range of region scholarships to pursue master’s and PhD degree.

-Applicants must be from ANSTI member institutions and may not exceed the age limit of 36 years by date of nomination. – Applicants must apply for studies outside their home countries. – Sub-Saharan African nationals are eligible to apply for studies outside their home countries. -To be eligible Applicants must hold a bachelors degree with at least 2nd class upper division. -Prior to the application for fellowship applicants must also obtain official admission to the host university.
