Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (Government of Canada) offers Canadian Francophonie Scholarship Program in Canada. These scholarships are offered for priority development areas in Vietnam; although, pharmaceutical, medical and dentistry programs are excluded. Preference will be given to studies linked to Public Administration and Public Financial Management. Candidates will be preselected based on their academic record, their level of French and the presentation of their planned studies and professional development. The application deadline is November 30, 2013.. The Canadian Francophonie Scholarship Program (CFSP) is a scholarship program financed by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (Government of Canada). The CFSP is designed to train nationals from developing countries, which are part of La Francophonie and are eligible for official development assistance. The scholarships, which are only available for francophone programs at Canadian institutions, will be offered to deserving candidates who are currently employed full-time and can demonstrate that the scholarship sought will be used to benefit their workplace upon the candidate’s return to Vietnam..  The following study programs are eligible for scholarships: -PhD, four years of full-time study -Masters, two years of full-time study -Postdoctoral studies: advanced research for those with a PhD. Minimally 4 months and up to a maximum of 10. -Full-time technical or professional training at a college or university for two years. -Short-term internship or training (for 4 to 10 months) to build capacity on key personnel in the workplace.
