The Institute of Biology wants to strengthen the education and research in arctic biology and is now advertising a PhD fellowship at the Institute of Biology and the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources.In recent years there has been great focus on the climate changes in the Arctic. The melting of the cryosphere affects the sensitive ecosystems and there is a great need for a focused research which can uncover how the systems and their biogeochemical function change.

Applicants without a relevant Master’s degree must have obtained at least 240 ECTS-points (Bachelor degree plus one year (60 ECTS-points) at Master’s level).
