Students from all countries are welcome to apply for a PhD IMPRS Fellowship of the Max Planck Institute for Physics. The quarterly deadlines are usually January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, October 1st. Detailed information and requirements about the application can be found here. A selection committee composed of members from all participating institutes will review the applications. It will advise potential supervisors about the candidates and their qualifications. The final decision about the acceptance of a student for a certain thesis project is made by her/his potential supervisor. -A Diploma Degree or a Master of Science Degree in Physics with excellent results, -a written Diploma THESIS or Master of Science THESIS documenting at least about 6 months of research, very good English language skills.
