At the ISBA there are around 30 pre- and postdoctoral researchers working under the supervision of 10 full-time professors, in a variety of fields of methodological and applied statistics, including biostatistics and actuarial sciences. The Institute is partner of an international research network on ‘Developing crucial statistical methods for understanding major complex dynamic systems in natural, biomedical and social sciences’, financed by the Belgian government (Interuniversity Attraction Pole (IAP) network).
-For the PhD position : master degree in statistics or a related discipline. The diploma must have been obtained with at least distinction or an equivalent grade. -For the postdoc position : PhD in statistics or a related discipline. Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required. No proper knowledge of French is required.
