The successful candidate will play an integral role in a large-scale genomic study of pediatric brain tumours under the realm of the International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC). The project will involve the use of next-generation sequencing to generate a genome-wide map of histone modifications across a large cohort of clinically well-annotated primary brain tumour samples. -We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in cancer biology that works well in a team environment. -Excellent communication skills in English are required. -Experience with nucleic acid extraction, PCR, chromatin immunoprecipitation, next-generation sequencing, and basic cellular assays strongly preferred. -Candidates with a background in bioinformatics and programming will be deemed highly competitive.
