Within the research group Cognitive and Systems Neuroscience (SILS Center for Neuroscience), carrying out a research project examining how brain mechanisms for conscious multisensory integration and selective attention, a vacancy is available for a PhD Student.

-A Master of Science degree in Neuroscience or related fields, including computer science and physics. -Experience with experimental neurophysiology, animal behavior and neural data analysis is mandatory. -Experience in Matlab and human or animal electrophysiology will be considered an advantage. -Further requirements are the ability to work in a team; the ability to work independently; demonstrated interest in cognition, perception and neuroelectronic techniques. -There will be some teaching activities and because of this only candidates that speak Dutch well will be considered
