The research is part of the Danish-Chinese Center for Molecular Nano-Electronics, which is a collaborative project between Danish and Chinese research groups in the fields of Physics and Chemistry of nanoscale molecular electronics. The scientific aim of the research is to develop new scientific insight that allow better control of the nanoscale and supramolecular organization of electronic materials as well as the fabrication of devices with novel advanced functions.Combined, the research groups in Denmark and China have access to state-of-the-art facilities within semiconductor nanostructures, molecular electronics, scanning probe microscopy, synchrotron X-ray physics, carbon nanostructures, theory, supramolecular chemistry and self-assembly, organic synthesis and more.
A PhD or equivalent degree in a field relevant to the research project is required. In particular, we are looking for a candidate that can serve as a link between the research groups in Copenhagen and Beijing and at the same time assist Danish students in Beijing. Thereforeexcellent communication and social skills are preferred. Knowledge of the Danish education system is required and tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage. The working language is English, thus excellent English speaking, reading and writing skills are mandatory.
